Everywhere:
- All light fixtures are to work properly with working light bulbs
- All electric is to work properly
- All plumbing is to be free of any leaks or blockages
- All walls must be clean
- All smoke alarm(s) and carbon monoxide alarm(s) shall be working properly
- Dust the ceiling fixtures.
- Dust all ledges.
- Clean the door knobs and doors.
- Clean all light switches and outlets.
- Clean the walls and baseboards.
- Vacuum (get any stains out of the carpet, or get the carpet professionally cleaned).
- Get rid of all cobwebs.
Bathroom:
- Get soap scum off the bathroom tiles and tub/shower and bleach the grout.
- Clean out the bathroom drawers and vanity, making sure you get all the hair out (and remove any liners).
- Clean the toilet, sink, countertop and finally the floor (sweep and mop).
- Clean the mirror.
- Vacuum out the surface of the exhaust.
Kitchen:
- Clean out all cabinets and liners.
- Wash the front of the cabinets. Do NOT scrub with a bleach or scratcher.
- Clean and disinfect all countertops.
- Clean the sink and faucet.
- Clean the refrigerator inside and out. Remove all shelves and drawers and clean separately.
- Clean the oven inside and out. Remove and clean all shelving racks.
- Clean out the dishwasher if you have one.
- Clean exhaust fan.
- Clean Microwave
Bedrooms/Living Room:
- Dust, sweep, vacuum and mop these rooms.
- Clean inside the drawers of the dressers
- Dust all furniture.

And the last thing you should do is mop from the furthest point out to the door. Say goodbye, and lock it up.
Call Management to arrange time for inspection and return ALL keys.
Your deposit will be mailed to your forwarding address in at least 45 days as defined by Illinois State Law.
